These are two recordings of the same piece- one written by Frankfurt’s own I.M. Japhet. The first recording is by Mr Benno Weis z”l and the second by Mr. Arnold Sulzbach z’l. Both were Baal Koreh in KAJ. The Sulzbach recording was provided to me by a friend, Mr. Zachary E., and is found on the website of the NLI along with other recordings of Mr Sulzbach. You will notice that Sulzbach sings it slower. This represents to me a trend in the styles of performance in our community. We got faster with time.
