The tune was provided by Melech Berlove, son of the former Chazan at this historical former shul of German-Jewish immigrants to Cincinnati. A rendition of the tune was then rendered by Chazan Nathan Goldman of Stuttgart, and piano was added by a friend of mine in NY. The Piyut is one of the most beloved and moving prayers in our liturgy and it ends with the plea, “On behalf of the fathers, save the sons.” Kein Yehi Ratzon!
